Princess Kate’s humble three-word remark after heart-warming compliment

The posed a humble three-word remark after receiving a compliment regarding her children.

The royal, 43, , which is where she received her own cancer treatment last year.

Whilst expressing her gratitude to the medical teams, the mother of three was praised for how well she had managed her children – Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and six-year-old Prince Louis – during her treatment.

In a heart-warming reply, Kate smiled warmly and responded: “Oh, that’s kind.”

Sharing her own journey since finishing treatment in September, Kate said: “Sometimes from the outside, we all think you’ve finished treatment and you go back to things. But it’s hard to get back to normal.”

Speaking of the impact that a cancer journey has on loved ones, Kate said: “I feel like it’s sometimes harder for the loved ones around us.

“They need support just as much as I did as the patient.”

Looking visibly moved during the visit, Kate could be heard saying, “I’m sorry. I wish there was more I could do to help.

“I wanted to come and show my support for the amazing work that’s going on here and for those who are going through treatment and having such a hard time.”

At the time when she revealed her cancer diagnosis in March 2024, Kate shared a video confirming that she was undergoing treatment.

In a video posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s social media platforms, Kate said that the news of her cancer had been a “huge shock”.

Speaking of her children, Kate also explained that it had taken some “time to explain everything to” George, Charlotte and Louis. She revealed that she had wanted to find a way to explain her diagnosis to them “in a way that is appropriate for them”, as well as making sure to “reassure them that I am going to be OK”.
