was “not invited” to an event held by Princess Anne last week, it has been claimed.
The 64-year-old is said to have been excluded from a Windsor Castle dinner honouring his former school – despite living just miles away on the royal estate.
The event reportedly celebrated Gordonstoun School, an education establishment where he was once a pupil.
As the Warden of the prestigious Scottish institution, Anne is known to have hosted the event. The school was also previously attended by the late Prince Philip, King Charles, and Prince Edward.
A royal source told the that Andrew – who is no longer a working royal after stepping down from duties in 2019 – was not present at the exclusive gathering.

A Gordonstoun spokesperson said: “In her role as Warden for Gordonstoun, Her Royal Highness held an intimate evening dinner attended by a small number of guests.”
Although Anne did not attend the school herself, her children, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips, attended Gordonstoun.
A friend of Andrew told the publication: “I’m sure the duke would have loved to have attended the dinner if he had been invited.”

The snub comes just weeks after Andrew decided not to spend Christmas at the Sandringham estate with the royals.
The Duke of York is believed to have made the decision after came to light.
