Netflix is gearing up to showcase some of its most anticipated releases for 2025, with one adaptation in particular set to enthrall its audience.
The Leopard, a major limited series, is poised to make its debut early this year, drawing from the revered novel by Italian writer Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa.
Transporting viewers to 19th Century Sicily, ‘The Leopard’ explores the saga of an aristocratic family ensnared by the “changing sociopolitical times”.
Kim Rossi Stuart stars as Prince Salina, grappling with the peril facing his family as the old order crumbles and Italy strides towards unification.
Fans will have to mark their calendars as The Leopard is scheduled to premiere on on Wednesday, March 5.

The six-episode drama boasts a stellar cast of Italian actors.
Taking on the role of Don Fabrizio Corbera, the Prince of Salina, is Kim Rossi Stuart, renowned for his roles in ‘Angel of Evil’, ‘Everybody Loves Diamonds’, and ‘The Keys to the House’.
He’s joined by Bendedetta Porcaroli, known for her portrayal of Chiara in ‘s teen drama ‘Baby’, her performance in the horror flick ‘Immaculate’ alongside Sydney Sweeney, and in the movie ‘Amanda’.
The lineup also features actress and model Deva Cassel, ‘Alex and Co’ star Saul Nanni from Disney, television host Paolo Calabresi, and Francesco Colella of ‘ZeroZeroZero’ fame.

The upcoming series ‘The Leopard’ is gearing up to be an exquisite project, bringing together the creative skills of acclaimed directors.
Tom Shankland, renowned for his work on ‘The Serpent’, ‘House of Cards’, and ‘The Leftovers’, joins forces with Giuseppe Capotondi and Laura Luchetti behind the camera.
Anticipation for ‘The Leopard’ has been building for some time, with Variety reporting in April 2023 that production had commenced across various iconic Italian locations including Catania, Syracuse, Palermo, and Rome.
