had people in hysterics as he shared a never-before-seen clip from his appearance on Channel 4’s Taskmaster on New Year’s Eve.
On X, the money-saving guru typed: “Taskmaster Outtake! OK here’s a bit they didn’t show from my outing on the New Year’s special of the comedy show (understandably, it’s rude, beware).
“It was about the ‘Bring in the source of the biggest pride’ task. Yet kindly sent it me so I could post it, so what the hell….”
In the clip shared by Martin he reveals his greatest source of pride is his daughter, but what he goes on to describe is far from the wholesome image he represents on daytime TV.
Martin said: “I thought very long and hard about this and the spelling of source, was S-O-U-R-C-E, not S-A-U-C-E.
Martin Lewis left viewers stunned with rude suggestion.
“I then went to my biggest pride and joy, my daughter, and I thought about the source of your greatest pride. I thought about getting a specimen jar with some flour and water and decided not to do that,” he laughed.
Host of the show Greg Davies said: “I think what Martin is saying, is he considered making counterfeit semen.”
In the comment section, fans could not contain their laughter, saying they were “not expecting” that from Martin. One typed: “Sat here laughing my head off. Thanks for sharing.”
Martin appeared on the New Year’s special episode of Taskmaster.
Another replied: “It was a great line-up. We’d have loved a whole series with you in it!” A third responded: “Absolutely should’ve bought that in.”
While a fourth added: “I’ve been watching Taskmaster outtakes from all the series on YouTube – hilarious!”
Another commented: “This sort of thing would make TV watchable.”
The Channel 4 show traditionally opens with the Prize Task which challenges contestants to bring in an item, to fit a theme, which the winner of the show will get to take home at the close of the episode.
Don’t miss… [NEWS] [UPDATE]
For the New Year’s special Taskmaster Greg asked the celebs to bring in an item that they took the most pride in.
Whilst Sue bought in a photo of her late mother with Sir Paul McCartney and Melanie her MasterChef apron, Martin chose a very special item.
I love games, that’s one of the reasons I’m here. and I was on what I thought up until now was one of the best game shows on television, House Of Cards,’ he explained.
“I bought in one of the prizes which is the House Of Games Richard Osman face deckchair – there we go,” he told a flabberghasted Greg.
