Jenna Bush Hager was the subject of a quench-tion on “Pop Culture Jeopardy!”
The category “Thirst Traps” came up during a recent episode of the Prime Video series.
“With the help of Hoda Kotb & a hairdryer, this TODAY show book guru posted a thirst trap to celebrate 1 million followers,” host Colin Jost read.
The contestant, named Kristen, correctly guessed “Jenna Bush Hager.”
“How could anybody forget this thirst trap?” Carson Daly asked Jan. 14 on TODAY as a photo of Jenna looking sultry in the 2022 Instagram post in question appeared on the screen before he questioned what a thirst trap is.
“A thirst trap is, you know, you go on Instagram and there’s the people that are kind of sexy and dressed inappropriately, and they’re trying to get the attention of somebody,” Jenna said.
“A thirst trap is like a hot picture that’s trying to attract attention,” Savannah Guthrie added.
Jenna joked about the experience of being the subject of a thirst trap.
“All I have to say is I’ve never made my parents more proud,” she said. “I mean, that’s the ‘Jeopardy!’ clue I get? Geez!”
Jenna’s thirst trap was done in 2022 when Jenna told fourth hour viewers that she would take one if the show reached 1 million Instagram followers. Well, she made good on the promise, appearing in a photo with a library background.
“This takes me to ‘Fifty Shades,’” Jenna said before the shoot, alluding to E.L. James’ popular series of books.
Jenna said she had never been the subject of a thirst trap prior to this experience, but TV host Justin Sylvester was having none of it.
