An explorer who has visited every country in the world has ranked all the nations in from his favourite to least favourite. It was a hotspot popular with British stag dos that came out on top.

vlogger has been to every country on the continent, some of them multiple times, and them according to his own criteria. They were overall friendliness, affordability, cuisine, night life, natural beauty, historical wonders and authentic cultural experiences.

The American chose the at the top of the list, with the nation’s capital Prague popular with British stag dos for decades.

According to Drew, what draws him to the is its ‘east meets west’ feel.

“It doesn’t get any better than this. Even though I spent a year of my life in this city I still get goosebumps every time I’m here.

“Yes this is the city I studied abroad in back in 2012 but I’ve just fallen in love with this city and this country.

“There are many cities that are stunningly beautiful like Plzen, Liberec, Olomouc and Brno. And all the little Czech towns and villages are so cool.

“What’s really cool about the Czech Republic is you’re right on the border between Eastern Europe and Western Europe so you still get that Eastern European flair and culture.”

According to Drew, there is one aspect of Czech culture that received a thumbs down from him – the food. He describes the cuisine as ‘heavy’ with people eating a lot of meat, potatoes, sauerkraut and cabbage.

Despite this, the good far outweighs the bad because ‘you don’t visit the Czech Republic for its food’ while beer still cheaper than water.

He added: “The way the society runs in Prague, it’s super clean and super safe. It has that Western European comfort a little bit here and still had the grunge of Eastern Europe.

“It’s way more affordable than Western Europe. Beer is cheaper than water even though it has got quite pricey over the last few years.

“It’s loaded with beautiful parks, cafes, restaurants, bars. It’s family friendly. What I love about Prague is yes it’s the biggest city in the Czech Republic, but it’s still pretty small. There’s about a million people here, it’s great if you like exploring by foot.”

At the other end of the scale, Drew picked the Vatican City as his least favourite European country.

Giving his reasoning, this was mainly due to how small it is and that there are no hotels.

He said: “It’s somewhere you visit for a few hours. It’s like the Grand Canyon, it’s amazing to visit one time but once you’ve been once, you don’t really have to visit again.”
