Netflix is set to launch a brand new reality series featuring a host of celebrities.
Touted as the next big celebrity competition and the ultimate survival challenge by the streaming giant, Celebrity Bear Hunt will see a dozen famous faces attempting to evade survivalist and TV personality Bear Grylls in the Costa Rican jungle, reports .
The first glimpse of the show has been released, and it’s already being compared to popular reality shows like I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Celebrity Hunted and The Island with Bear Grylls.

Celebrity Bear Hunt is an action-packed competition that drops a group of unlikely celebrities into the Central American jungle, where they become prey for one of the world’s most formidable predators Bear Grylls. Bear believes everyone has an inner action hero, but how strong is the celebrities’ will to survive?
He will test their mettle, and those who fail to impress will face the dreaded Bear Hunt a ruthless game of cat and mouse where they’ll be pursued by Bear himself. If caught, they face elimination from the show.

ITV’s Holly Willoughby is set to make her debut this year, hosting the new show Celebrity Bear Hunt.
Fans need not worry about her new venture pulling her away from her regular roles, as she will still feature in the upcoming instalment of Dancing On Ice.
Celebrity Bear Hunt will be available for streaming on from February 5, with a total of eight episodes making up the series.

Danny Cipriani – Aged 37, Former international Rugby Union player who has played for England.
Zuhair Hassan (AKA Big Zuu) – Aged 29, TV chef and rapper known for Big Zuu’s Big Eats.
Una Healy – Aged 43, Irish singer-songwriter and member of girl group The Saturdays.
Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen – Aged 59, TV Interior Designer, known for Changing Rooms.
Steph McGovern – Aged 42, TV presenter known for Steph’s Packed Lunch.
Lottie Moss – 27-year-old model and half-sister of Kate Moss.
Joe Thomas – a 41-year-old actor famed for his role in The Inbetweeners, are among the participants.
What are the rules of Celebrity Bear Hunt?
has yet to disclose the complete set of rules or the expected progression of the series. However, the initial trailer provides some insight, with Bear himself assuring viewers that the celebrities will undergo a transformation through the experience.
Host Holly Willoughby also cautions the stars to ‘expect the unexpected’.
The released footage indicates that the celebrity contestants will be cohabiting, which is likely to stir up tensions. It also previews the intense hunting game they will have to participate in, with Bear demonstrating survival techniques and capturing those he tracks down. Those who get caught are reportedly at risk of being eliminated from the show.
