Getting stuck in traffic can often feel like one of the most frustrating things in the world, especially if you see other cars moving as you’re at a standstill.

One has revealed his ultimate hack to avoid being stuck at a T junction, and it’s easier than you might think.

Uppingham-based ‘R’ Drive School of Motoring often shares clips and videos from their , sharing important tips and information about driving.

In one , driving instructor Sonny Sunderland shows his student how she can drive out into a T junction without having to wait for anyone to let her through.

“It works every time,” he wrote in the caption of the video.

:

As they neared the junction, Sonny asked the student to roll down the window on her side and look the other driver directly in the eyes.

“Open your window. When you get there, look the person in the eye – they will let you out every single time,” Sonny said. “If you have your window up, you’re just a metal machine. You’re now a person.”

As the student was next in line to merge into the lane, she looked right towards the other person, who went on to let her out onto the road without having to wait to be let through.

“There you go, look at him,” Sonny said, before adding “There you go.”

It works every time! @Han

While Sonny seemed confident that his driving hack works every time, people in the comments said they wouldn’t have allowed her to merge before them.

One person wrote: “If you are in an Audi or a Range Rover you can stare at me all day long, it isn’t happening!”

“I’d just hold eye contact and not let them out now ik this,” a second person said.

However others agreed with Sonny’s tips, with one person agreeing: ” it actually does work.”

“That’s clever!! Never knew that,” another person wrote.
