Donny Osmond penned an emotional tribute to his late brother Wayne
older brother Wayne, who also performed with The Osmonds, sadly died aged 73 on New Year’s Day.

Donny, 67, was inundated with messages of support on Monday (January 13) after he shared two heartwarming photos with his older sibling. One captured the duo as young performers, while the latter showed the two of them in a sweet embrace as children.
Taking to X, he told his 214,000 followers: “It’s been a very reminiscent and contemplative weekend for me and everyone in the Osmond family after saying goodbye to my dear brother Wayne.
“Even though I know with certainty that I will see him again, there’s a vacancy in my heart that hurts. I came across these pictures today and thought they would be perfect together. Pictures say thousands of words, and these say it all.”

He concluded: “Throughout my life, Wayne was always by my side and always there to back me up. I love you, Wayne. ‘Till we meet again, Your brother, Donny.”

Wayne was the fourth oldest Osmond sibling behind Virl, 79, Tom, 77, and Alan, 75. He was followed by Merrill, 71; Jay, 69; Donny, 67; Marie, 65; and Jimmy, 61.
Born and raised in Ogden, Utah, Wayne’s musical career began in 1958 when he joined forces with Alan, Merrill, and Jay to form the barbershop quartet The Osmonds.
Their younger siblings, Donny and Jimmy, joined them later, and The Osmonds reached worldwide fame.
