Donald Trump’s Inaugural Parade Is Reportedly Getting A Trashy Twist

The garbage truck that Donald Trump used for a photo opportunity in Green Bay, Wisconsin, in the final days of the 2024 campaign will appear in his Inauguration Day parade, according tomultiplemedia outlets.

The president-elect cosplayed in a safety vest to hold a news conference from the vehicle Oct. 30. He almost face-planted as he entered the campaign-sticker-emblazoned vehicle.

“How do you like my garbage truck?” the then-presidential candidate asked reporters at the time. “This truck is in honor of [Democratic rival] Kamala [Harris] and [President] Joe Biden,” he added.

The stunt followed comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s widely condemned Trump rally joke about Puerto Rico being a “floating island of garbage” and Biden’s response that “the only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters,” which drew outrage on the right. Biden later clarified he was talking about Hinchcliffe.
