The expert said: “These hours start from 11pm to 7am, and the unit consumption is low during this time and when you run your washing machine for an hour or two non-stop, it won’t take a lot of electricity.”

Consider also hanging up heavier clothes like jeans rather than putting them in a dryer as they will take ages to fully dry, and the fabric is more likely to become damaged when exposed to the high heat.
