That’s the word from a sensation who has revealed that many are missing out on the perfect brew due to some common blunders.

Britt Marie Box, a content creator with over 10,000 followers, shared her own experience with the Nespresso milk frother, which she confessed to spending £100 on in an attempt to “fix” – only to realise it wasn’t broken at all.

Coffee enthusiasts are no strangers to the Nespresso brand and its popular frother that whisks and heats milk separately before adding it to the .

Throughout the years of using her coffee machine, she predominantly used oat milk until recently switching to cow’s milk, which is when she noticed issues.

“Every single time I would put my milk in here and press the button to make a latte it would overflow. Every, single time it would overflow. It would come all the way down the sides and pool under the middle, it would be an entire mess,” she lamented.

Despite varying the amount of milk, the problem persisted, leading Britt to purchase an XL version of the frother, mistakenly thinking the cow’s milk was causing excessive frothing, reports .

But it wasn’t until she purchased a larger frother and delved into some online tutorials that everything clicked. She stumbled upon a “nugget of information” that was a game-changer.

Demonstrating, she revealed the frother’s interior with its detachable whisker, featuring a spring at the base. Britt acknowledged she knew the spring was removable for cleaning purposes.

However, what she hadn’t realised was that for a latte, the spring should be taken off, but for a cappuccino, it stays on.

She explained: “It makes the right amount of milk and the right amount of foam for a latte.

“I have just discovered this, just now, four years into owning it after I had bought a bigger product because I thought this one wasn’t working.”

In jest, she pointed to the frother and said, “It wasn’t this that wasn’t working, it was this,” then pointed to her head.
