Rachel Reeves was slammed on GB News
A guest, MP Andrew Griffith, furiously blasted for having zero “credibility”, arguing: “All the decisions she’s made have been the wrong ones.”
With borrowing soaring to the highest it’s been in three decades and the British economy desperately struggling, the public have turned against the government – and this morning’s episode of GB News demonstrated just how intense the backlash is against her.
“She has no credibility – this is a government that’s spanking billions up the wall on failed ideas!” Andrew raged. Continuing his stormy rant, he argued that instead of making difficult decisions to revive the economy now, she should have done so last year – at the time of creating her now deeply unpopular budget.
Eamonn Holmes had launched the discussion by reading out the front page headline on this morning’s Telegraph, which declared: “Cabinet told cuts must be ruthless” and warned that the government’s economic plan was “under pressure”.
