This Morning’s Nadine Baggott shared her top beauty picks for 2025 and predicted “glass skin” to be huge following previous years’ trends. She particularly loves L’Oreal Paris’ new anti-ageing serum, which has a high 4.7 rating from shoppers.

It’s the , which retails at Boots for £31.99. The serum targets to improve all key ageing signs including wrinkles, firmness, smoothness, and uneven tone. The skincare also leaves a silky and lightweight texture that makeup artists define it as “good foundation base”.

Nadine spoke to Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard on the ITV programme: “Glass skin is gonna be huge, L’Oreal Paris – they are just smashing it in the world at the moment. This is their ‘glass skin’ serum and this is a combination of peptides and peptide works on micro-contractions of your skin.

For those who are new to the term and have no idea what it means, it doesn’t mean your skin is ‘fragile’ as Nadine explained: “Glass skin is just skin that reflects light and you look gorgeous and it’s a big, big trend.”

What Nadine loves about the L’Oreal Paris serum is the dermatologist-approved ingredients: tripepetides – Collagen Peptide Fractions, Argilerine and Elasti Peptides. She added: “This has three peptides in and one and a resurfacing acid. It doesn’t dry out, it dries down with a sheen – makeup artists are obsessed with it, this beautiful finish.”

Online shoppers agreed with Nadine as one said the serum streamlined her skincare routine: “I normally use individual serums and ointments but having them all in this serum makes it so much easier and a lot quicker to get my face ready in the morning. After using it for a few weeks, I noticed my skin feels softer and a lot smoother and as for fine lines, I think they are looking softer (thanks to the argireline).”

A second said she noticed improvements in as little as two weeks, sharing: “My skin is tighter, plumper and more even in tone. I use it during the night and when I wake up in the morning, my skin is hydrated and my makeup lasts much longer.”

But one shopper was let down by the floral fragrance and added: “The serum oges on nicely and doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky. The only downside is it has started to break me out, so is unsuitable for my skin unfortunately.”

While Nadine has said it’s “glass skin for 2025”, she went further to make a trend prediction which left Ben shocked: “I’m already predicting in 2026, [the trend will be] Boiled Egg Skin – it’s all come Korea and your skin is supposed to look like a perfect egg.”

Other than the L’Oreal Paris age-correcting serum, , £44, also targets adult acne and unclog pores. Shoppers can also try , £27, on Amazon.
