‘I couldn’t think of somebody less attractive to me as a woman than that man’
Megyn Kelly is “thrilled” that Justin Trudeau is resigning as Canada’s prime minister.
The Conservative podcaster called Trudeau “a punchline” as she lambasted the head of the Liberals for finally announcing he will step aside as the country’s leader as soon as the party picks a new successor.
But Kelly, 54, hit out at Trudeau’s decision to resign rather than hold a general election. “It means he could be in power for the first several weeks, even potentially months of Trump’s presidency, and may have to navigate the imposition of tariffs,” Kelly said.
Her criticisms of Trudeau then got decidedly personal as she sounded off on his looks.
“Justin Trudeau has turned himself into a punchline. When I picture a feckless man, I picture Justin Trudeau. I couldn’t think of somebody less attractive to me as a woman than that man,” she continued. “I can’t stand the sight of him. I’m thrilled.”
On YouTube, where Kelly’s comments garnered over 109,00 views, her viewers cheered the news of Trudeau’s upcoming exit.
“Canadian here and it was a wonderful day for Canadians!! It would have been better if he lost via election but we will take this as a win! One step closer to making Canada great again!!” one fan wrote.
“I agree with you Megyn,” another person agree. “Even thinking about him makes me shiver and gag.”
In November, Kelly hit out at Trudeau during an interview with Gad Saad after the Canadian professor accused the Liberal Leader of adopting “a sneaker f***er mating strategy.”
“That’s exactly what Justin Trudeau is doing,” Saad said. “He’s so empathetic. He’s so gentle. He’s hugging trees. He thinks that will make him non-intimidating. so he can sneak in some surreptitious mating opportunities.”
“Another name might be ‘terrible f***er,’” Kelly quipped. “I have every belief that he’s terrible in bed. Somebody like that, so the ladies may be wooed over a glass of wine …”
“Then you got to get the job done in the bedroom,” Saad interjected.
“Then you need somebody to get on top of you and and get down to business,” Kelly continued. “I don’t want to coax him into it … I shouldn’t be in charge in that room … I’m sorry, but I don’t want that on top of me and I think I speak for a lot of women when I say that. I do.”
Longtime Trudeau critic, Joe Rogan, also weighed in on Trudeau’s impending departure, calling him a “communist.”
“He’s stepping down till they find a replacement, and then he leaves … He’s like a fake progressive,” Rogan said during a conversation with comedian Theo Von. “The whole thing’s fake, that’s why he was an authoritarian and he kept cracking down on people’s rights, and they all really saw it during that trucker protest because that’s when it was really in front of everybody’s face, where you couldn’t ignore it. Here is this guy who is trying to freeze bank accounts from the people that donated money to the truckers.”
“I liked him better when he was black,” Von joked, referring to Trudeau’s 2019 “blackface” scandal.
Last October, Rogan revealed that he flirted with moving to Canada. “I used to want to live in Canada … until Trudeau,” Rogan, 57, said in a conversation with Shane Smith on an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience,. “I thought about living in Vancouver. I was like, ‘I could go live in Vancouver if s*** hits the fan in the United States. I always felt Canadians are amazing people. I always felt that Canada has 20% less douchebags. That was my feeling.”
Rogan has long refused to bring his standup act to Canada until Trudeau is no longer prime minister, but in his conversation with Smith he said he used to talk to other comedians about how much he loved the country.
“When I used to do shows up there, we would all talk about it. I would do a gig in Toronto or Montreal and I’d say, ‘Canada is the best.’ I love it up there. I love the people. They’re friendly and hardworking. Peaceful. Smart. Educated. It was always fun. I loved it up there. I love the attitude of the place. I’ve met so many cool people in Canada,” he said.
But after nine years of Trudeau, Canada “scares the s*** out of me.”
“You guys are sliding into communism,” Rogan warned the Ottawa-born co-founder of Vice. “Everyday, they push a little bit further. If you don’t get rid of that guy, if you don’t turn that thing around, you’re f***ed.”
The popular podcaster also made his endorsement for Canada’s next prime minister. “That Pierre Poilievre guy, however you say his name, he makes sense,” Rogan said.
After his statement last week, Trudeau’s many vocal critics rallied behind the news of his withdrawal from politics.
Tech mogul Elon Musk re-shared a post with his 211 million X followers that included news of Trudeau’s resignation with the caption, “2025 is looking good.”
Elsewhere, comedian Russell Brand tweeted a video clip of Trudeau addressing reporters, writing, “IT HAPPENED! Justin Trudeau RESIGNED!”
The federal Liberals will announce Trudeau’s replacement on March 9. So far, MP Chandra Arya and businessman Frank Baylis have thrown their hat in the ring as his possible successors.
