According to the latest figures, over 5,300 structures were destroyed in the Palisades fire alone, including some of the most expensive real estate in the city.
Among those who have lost their LA residencies are Paris Hilton, Oscar-winning actor Sir Anthony Hopkins, reality show stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, and actor-director Mel Gibson.

She wrote an post about the devastation she experienced while seeing the home she raised her two children in burn down.
Paris told followers: “Heartbroken beyond words.
“This home was where we built so many precious memories. It’s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London.”
Mel Gibson also spoke about being ‘devastated’ by the loss of his LA home.

Several celebrity’s homes have burned down in the fires in LA
His house burned as he made a guest appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, and he admitted to feeling on edge while they were recording it as he was aware of the fires in the area.
However, he has since joked that he doesn’t have to deal with his “pesky plumbing problems” anymore, so the actor doesn’t seem to have taken the loss to heart.
He also added: “I have never seen a place so perfectly burned. You could put it in an urn.”
Meanwhile Sir Anthony Hopkins delivered a thoughtful message to others who have suffered loss from the fires, telling followers: “As we all struggle to heal from the devastation of these fires, it’s important we remember that the only thing we take with us is the love we give.”
Additional celebrities who fled their homes before they burned down include Milo Ventimiglia, Bryan Greenberg and Jamie Chung, Miles and Keleigh Teller, Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, Cary Elwes, Eugene Levy, among others.
