Emmerdale Billy’s new romance ‘sealed’ after Dawn affair – and it’s with older woman

fans are speculating about who Billy Fletcher might start a new romance with, following his wife Dawn Taylor’s infidelity.

Billy, portrayed by Jay Kontzle, first appeared in the Dales in December 2018 and has since become a beloved character among the soap’s dedicated fanbase. The doting father has been involved in numerous major plotlines, from his disastrous wedding to Dawn Taylor (played by Olivia Bromley) to their child Evan’s shocking leukaemia diagnosis.

Currently, he is unaware that Dawn recently cheated on him with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), who made a dramatic return to the show at Christmas and has been stirring up trouble ever since.

After Dawn drugged (Claire King) in a failed attempt to make her confess to her father Will’s (Dean Andrews) death, things took a turn for the worse when Kim began having seizures and lost consciousness. Joe quickly took control of the situation, calling an ambulance and promising Dawn he wouldn’t reveal her actions.

Fortunately, Kim recovered, but Dawn later confessed her actions to Billy, who was horrified and stormed out.

In the next instalment, Dawn scrambles to conceal her deeds as she and Joe rendezvous in secret, deciding to act as if nothing transpired between them.

Yet, while some enthusiasts are anticipating an intense affair brewing between Joe and Dawn, others are predicting a surprising new love interest for Billy.
