‘s latest escapade saw experts Paul Laidlaw and Margie Cooper embarking on a new journey in a classic Morris Minor, with the duo travelling from Lincolnshire to North Yorkshire, aiming for an auction showdown in Harrogate. Throughout the episode, the atmosphere was rife with rivalry as the pair bantered back and forth.

The trip began with star Paul at the helm pondering over local airfields and connections to wartime history, which prompted Margie to tease: “Oh, don’t, you’re not going to start with all this war stuff!”

A determined Paul was quick to outline his strategy, stating: “My tactic is… but you won’t. I’m sure this won’t upset you. I will just be hovering behind ready to snatch. Is that the best you can do? ” To which an exasperated Margie cheekily retorted: “Don’t you dare! Don’t you dare.”

It was then revealed that Paul was hunting for military memorabilia, much to Margie’s dismay.

A bemused Margie commented on Paul’s pursuit of militaria: “Sniffing around! Oh no! Please! You’re not still buying that old rubbish, are you?”

Despite her playful grievances, the competitive spirit fuelled both their searches as they arrived at the antique stops, which consisted of four separate centres.

Paul suggested: “Shall we divide and conquer? I’ll just abandon you by the roadside!”

During their secret shopping spree, Margie quipped: “Oh, looks very good in here..” Paul retorted with exaggerated alarm: “Whoa, whoa, whoa! Are you familiar with the concept of trespassing? I thought you were..”

To which Margie cheekily replied: “I am allowed to go where I want to! I was told!”

Paul then sharply came back with: “What is this? An interrogation? You come in here and interrogate me! “.

However, the pair didn’t let their clash get in the way of their time together on the show, as they enjoyed a good rapport for the rest of the episode, ending their journey at the auction.
