once took a surprising swipe at his friend James Corden, which reportedly left David Beckham to play peacemaker betweeen the two, according to reports.
The former Late Late Show host, 46, has been friends with the Duke of Sussex, 40, and David, 49, for several years after he shot to fame in the UK and moved across the pond to Los Angeles.
But reports claim that the pair didn’t get off on the right foot when they first met back in 2011. At the time, David and Harry are said to have held a get-together at a private members club in the heart of London for their pals. It is understood that the event was described as a “pre-Christmas boys’ p**s up”.
James was starring in the award-winning One Man, Two Guvnors in the West End at the time and therefore arrived at the event several hours after the party had begun – with all attendees in high spirirts.
But when the Fat Friends’ star arrived, Harry is believed to have made a jibe at the actor, which – according to the – reportedly left James fuming.

A source told the outlet – which has chosen not to reveal what the Royal said: “There was rapture when he arrived. He was a much-loved part of the group and there were hugs and giggles.
“The group was pretty large. Therre were some of Harry’s friends, some of James’ friends and some of David’s gang and they all intertwined. Then it all kicked off, James was furious, It quickly emerged that Harry had told a joke and James definitelty did not find it funny.”
The insider claims that the football ace tried to repair the friendship between the pair at the event, saying: “It fell to David to smooth things over. He is loved by everyone, I mean, who wouldn’t want to do as they were asked by a legend like him?
“He did a great job and managed to talk everyone round. Eventually, James calmed down and the night carried on.” has contacted representatives for , James Corden and David Beckham for comment.

Whatever Beckham said to the pair clearly worked, as the pair went on to become firm friends, especially after Harry moved to California with his family.
In 2021, Harry appeared on The Late Late Show in a segment which saw the pair ride a double decker bus around Los Angeles as they sang the theme from The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air.
James also later told how his children had playdates with Meghan and Harry’s son Archie and daughter Lilibet. It comes after and Meghan were photographed in Califoria comforting the victims of the Los Angeles fires.
Seen hugging those who had lost their homes in the devastation, the pair offered their support as the terrifying fires continued to tear through California. The Duke and Duccess remain at high risk due to living in Montecito, just 60 miles away from the blaze in Malibu.
