A polar blast is set to rock the UK very soon
Britain is set to be rocked by a brutal 742-mile stretching from the northern most to southern most coasts.
The shocking new UK have turned purple and white indicating that snow and freezing temperatures are on their way – from Wick, Scotland, all the way down to Plymouth.
WXCHARTS show that all 12 UK regions will be hit with the latest big freeze. The polar blast will stretch 742 miles from Wick, Scotland all the way down to Plymouth.
Those in Scotland are set to receive the brunt of the cold weather as at 12pm on January 24 and large parts of the country could be covered in 5cm of snow.
Up to 10cm of snow could fall in Wick in Scotland whilst parts of the Scottish Highlands could see temperatures drop to -9C.
England will not miss out on seeing snow fall as the north west and north east could both see snow depths reach 3cm. Key cities including Newcastle and Manchester could see heavy snow.

Weather maps predict that freezing temperatures are once again on their way
Weather maps predict that at 12pm on January 24 the east of England and south West could see 2cm of snowfall.
Northern Ireland is also set to be covered almost entirely by a blanket of snow with snow depths expected to reach 3cm.
As we go throughout the day and into the early hours of January 25 the snow and cold weather are predicted to spread further across the country.
Parts of the Scottish Highlands could see temperatures plunge to a bone chilling -7C at midnight, weather maps for this area have turned dark blue indicating the particularly cold weather.
The mercury is predicted to hover around a still icy -2C in the north west and north east.
Temperatures around -2C are expected in mid and north Wales. West Wales, London, south of England and the south West will all see ever so slightly warmer temperatures of 0C.
And the polar blast shows no signs of stopping there.

Freezing conditions are expected across the UK
At 12pm on January 25 the north west and north east may see snow depths reach 5cm whilst Northern Ireland and Wales are due to be blanketed in snow.
Elsewhere, the south west is predicted heavy snow with the region expected to be covered in snow fall. Key cities including Exeter and Plymouth are expected to see snow.
