Horror drama From is set to make a return soon but how did the second season finale wrap up?
The third season first premiered in the US in September 2024 on MGM+, and now it’s finally time for UK fans to discover how the series will unfold.
The first episode, Shatter, will air on Tuesday, January 14, on Sky Max and NOW, almost two years after the second season began.
Before From season three makes its debut, here’s a recap of how the series two finale played out.
From season 2 ending explained
Boyd
Randall (portrayed by AJ Simmons), Julie (Hannah Cheramy), and Marielle (Kaelen Ohm) had all fallen into comas with their eyes turning white as they screamed out in fear and pain.
In an attempt to save them, Boyd (Harold Perrineau) destroys the music box, which thankfully sets them free.
However, he then sees a vision of his late wife Abby (Lisa Ryder), who warns that they would all still die and he was merely delaying their suffering, much to his dismay.

Jade
Jade (David Alpay) and Tabitha (Catalina Sandino Moreno) venture into the perilous forest to seek answers about the children and symbols that continue to appear in their visions.
Tabitha reveals to him about the tunnels beneath the town, and it was here that he discovered a circle of rock slabs with light shining down on them, resembling a place of ritual.
Jade’s eerie encounter with deformed children chanting “anghkooey” and pointing to a mysterious symbol intertwined with tree roots has a direct link to Tabitha’s own haunting visions, which ultimately draw her towards the lighthouse.
Tabitha
Throughout the second season, Tabitha is plagued by visions of children and a beckoning lighthouse.
When she learns that Victor’s mother ventured there seeking an escape, Tabitha’s curiosity is piqued, compelling her to discover what’s there for herself.

Tragedy strikes at the lighthouse though when a spectral Boy In White shoves Tabitha from its heights.
The finale leaves viewers on edge as Tabitha awakens in a hospital bed, far from the town’s sinister grip.
Rescued by hikers, questions swirl about her miraculous survival and how she will reunite with her family.
