Weather traps Canucks in Raleigh after loss to Hurricanes

The Canucks will obviously try to make the two-hour flight Saturday.

They’re scheduled to play the Maple Leafs on Saturday night.

But brutal weather has rolled through the area and dozen of flights were cancelled out of Raleigh-Durham International Airport. And so the Canucks’ Air Canada Jetz charter flight was grounded, a team spokesperson confirmed.

The Canucks will obviously try to make the two-hour flight Saturday.

The Leafs game will be the fourth of the current five game road trip. The Canucks have lost all three games to date, twice in overtime.
