Virginia Water is a village in Surrey
Virginia Water is on the southern edge of Windsor Great Park, which says its two-mile-long lake is a popular destination for families, walkers and wildlife lovers.
The town has a variety of shops and convenient, quick train links into London.
It is also the home of Wentworth Golf Club, and local visitor attractions Virginia Water Lake and Savill Garden.
Visit Surrey also points out that Cabrera Avenue is an area held under trust, and includes a riverside walk and is a natural habitat to a wide range of species.
Virginia Water has been seen by millions of people who have not been there in person due to it being used to represent Hogwarts’ lake in a Harry Potter film.
The protagonist rode over the water on the Hippogriff Buckbeak in the Prisoner of Azkaban.
The scene in the Goblet of Fire that included Hermione passing messages between Harry and Ron after the two characters fell out was also filmed there.

Wentworth Golf Club has hosted major events
The Telegraph said of the cost of houses in its report: “While the average price is more reflective of the 1920s and 1930s houses near the station, those around the Wentworth golf club – hidden behind electric gates – are considerably higher.”
