The Masked Singer was “thrown into chaos” when Toad in the Hole stormed off the stage after being voted out of the competition.
Host Joel Dommett was left open-mouthed while the panel consisting of Maya Jama, Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and guest judge Suranne Jones watched on in surprise.
The sixth series of The Masked Singer launched last week (January 4) and on Saturday (January 11), five contestants took to the stage. After all acts had performed, the studio audience voted for their favourite character.
At the end of the show, Bear and Toad in the Hole found themselves in the bottom two and battled it out once more in a sing-off. The panel then voted for which act they wanted to see next week, which ultimately went to Bear as Toad in the Hole was unceremoniously sent packing.
However, before Toad in the Hole could unveil their true identity, they walked off the stage leaving everyone in utter disbelief, reports
