Brutal new UK show that 54 counties across Britain are going to be hit by a 36 hour
WXCHARTS weather maps have turned purple and white indicating that snow and freezing conditions will once again smash into the UK.
The latest big freeze is expected to start at 6am on Friday, January 24 and last 36 hours later until 6pm on Saturday, January 25.
Those in Southern Scotland could draw back the curtains and uncover snow and many parts of the country could wake up to 3cm of snow.
England will not miss out on seeing snow fall as the north west could see snow depths reach 1cm in the early hours of January 24.

The latest big freeze is expected to start at 6am on Friday January 24
As we go throughout the day the snow is predicted to spread further across the country. The north east and Yorkshire and the Humber are both predicted snow. Key cities including Newcastle and Manchester could see snow fall at 12pm.
Elsewhere north and mid Wales could be covered by a blanket of snow.

Temperatures could plunge to -10C on Saturday January 25
The mercury is also set to plunge, across Scotland temperatures will fail to go above an icy -1C, the Scottish Highland will see temperatures drop to -3C.
The north west, north east and Yorkshire and the Humber will see the mercury hover between -1C to 2C.
London, the south east and south west will see the highest temperatures across the country but even still the mercury is only set to rise to a miserable 3C.
And the polar blast shows no signs of stopping there.
Weather maps predict that at 6pm on Saturday, January 25 the Scottish Highlands could see the mercury drop to a grim -10C. Other parts of Scotland will see the mercury hover around a cold -5C.
The mercury is also set to plunge to below freezing
London, the south east and south west will all see temperatures drop to below freezing.
The only part of the UK predicted to see temperatures above freezing is parts of the south west.
Seperately, the ‘s weather outlook for this period is warning that a “dominant flow from the Atlantic” will drive an “unsettled and windier than average period”.
“This likely leading to bands of rain and periods of stronger winds at times.”
