BBC The Traitors’ Livi Deanne shuts down trolls as she addresses dramatic departure

star Livi Deane has finally opened up about her unexpected exit from the reality show on social media.

She found herself “murdered” by the rest of the contestants on Thursday (January 9) night’s show after she emotionally protested Tyler’s banishment.

After the pre-recorded show hit the airwaves, she shared screenshots of her appearance on companion show The Traitors: Uncloaked to her page along with a heartfelt caption.

Surprisingly, she admitted she wasn’t upset by her departure. “As much as I have loved this journey… I was so ready to go!” She wrote.

“Thank you so much to all the love and support, I will never forget how much it has meant to me. I want to wish the rest of the players all the best in the game.”

She also took the opportunity to implore viewers at home to be less harsh to contestants explaining it’s a very different experience when you are in the castle.

“As I write this I want to remind you all it is a game and it’s so hard to spot the Traitors,” the beautician and model explained.

“I have to say… if the Traitors were unknown to the public as well as us Faithfuls in the castle, I know that we would all get a feel of how hard it is to discover the Traitors.

“But having viewers privilege makes it so easy for judgements on mistakes made. I want to end this incredible journey by saying that I’m so grateful to have the most amazing friendships with each and every player in the game. Lots of love, Livi x,” she signed off.

Although gone from the show, Livi’s presence was still felt in Friday’s edition as Linda cried at breakfast following her exit.

This led to suspicion from many of the other contestants that and it appeared the faithfuls had figured out she wasn’t one of them.

Many of them questioned her about the way she was playing the game and even “marked” her as a Traitor during a task. Meanwhile her fellow traitor Minah made it clear she was worried Linda might crack.

However when it came to the round table vote, Dan was sent home and stunned the contestants revealing he was a faithful.

The Traitors airs on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9pm on One or catch up on iPlayer.
