One influencer caused controversy on a Ryanair flight (file)
While flying is often the fastest and most convenient way to travel somewhere, it’s not always the most comfortable solution.
Being stuck in the same seat for hours on end during a can feel like torture, so bringing your own form of entertainment on the flight is preferred. But who decided what’s actually acceptable to do on a plane?
food influencer Lola Young decided to test just that as she started to make a on her recent flight.
In her video, Lola is seen taking the ingredients out of her bag one by one as she prepared her no-bake cheesecake from the comfort of her seat.
She started by taking out her small cake tin, which she soon filled up with biscuit crumbs, which she crushed in a bag with the cake tin, softened butter and a small jar of honey, all of which she had measured out beforehand.

She then mixed it all up and pressed it down into the tin with a teaspoon to form the crust.
Next thing she did was to take out a package of cream cheese, which she added sugar to before mixing it up with the same spoon. She then spooned it over the crust and smoothed it down evenly.
She then brought out two small pots of jam which she added on top of the cream cheese topping. When it was all smoothed down, she dug into her ready made dessert with a smile on her face.
However, viewers weren’t as happy to watch was Lola was doing as they called her out for her behaviour.
One person wrote: “No. I’m a flight attendant and it’s a big no. Seriously pull yourself together people.” Another added: “Imagine being this desperate for likes.”
However, others stood up for the influencer, saying they saw nothing wrong with what she was doing. “I don’t understand the criticism! Plane food sucks, at least you can eat a good cake,” one person wrote, while another person said: “Finally, someone I would actually enjoy sitting beside.”
Ryanair has been contacted for comment.
