and Stephen Mulhern return to host 2025 alongside the esteemed judges, skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean as well as TV personalities and dancers Ashley Banjo and .
They will welcome eleven new celebrities to the show who are all hoping to be crowned champion. Unlike there is an element of serious danger to this show and many stars have suffered serious injury taking part in it.
Indeed one contestant has already dropped out due to injury. Paralympic legend Dame Sarah Storey, who was paired with Sylvian Longchambon, fractured her ankle in training and was forced to withdraw.
Obviously the contestants will have considered this and it can often meant the difference between playing it safe with their routines or really going for it.
This year’s line up of well known faces features a mix of soap stars, reality stars, sporting legends, comedians and TV presenters.

Soap stars always tend to do well on the show. Last year’s winner was former star Ryan Thomas who was paired with Amani Fancy.
Familiarity goes a long way when it comes to winning the public over and TV presenters have the advantage of constantly being in people’s living rooms.
However reality stars and often comedians tend to have huge social media followings who will vote for them initally.
Meanwhile, sports stars have very dedicated fan bases and are used to undertaking gruelling training schedules.
