Man Utd decide Kobbie Mainoo asking price as Chelsea ready to make a move

Manchester United will reportedly demand £100million if they decide to sell Kobbie Mainoo to this month. The 19-year-old has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, despite flourishing throughout the early stages of his Red Devils career.

Mainoo broke into the United first-team last season after progressing through the club’s academy and netted his team’s second goal in May’s FA Cup final as the Red Devils defeated 2-1.

The teenager has made 52 appearances for United but has endured a tougher season this time around, with the 13-time champions struggling to perform on the pitch.

According to , the Blues have an interest in Mainoo but would need to offer United close to £100m to test the Red Devils’ resolve.

Mainoo, who was born in Stockport, has become a key player for United and would prefer to stay at Old Trafford.

But the transfer fee would come in handy in the north west as the Red Devils would be able to bank it as instant profit due to the fact the young star is a homegrown player.
