West Ham confirm Graham Potter
West Ham United have announced the appointment of Graham Potter as the club’s new head coach.
The Hammers sacked Julen Lopetegui earlier this week and have moved quickly to secure his successor.
A statement read: “The 49-year-old joins the Hammers on a two-and-a-half year contract and will take charge of his new team for the first time when the Irons travel to Aston Villa in the FA Cup third round on Friday evening.”
Potter is back in work for the first time since his sacking in April 2023.

Man City working on £120m triple transfer
are working to heavily bolster ‘s squad this month.
According to , the champions are progressing in negotiations to sign Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush and Lens centre-back Abdukodir Khusanov.
Marmoush, 25, has been one of the stars of the Bundesliga this season and could be signed for around £50m.
Meanwhile, Khusanov, a 20-year-old Uzbekistan international, is available for a fee in the region of £35m.
Last night, Fabrizio Romano that City were also making a move for Palmeiras centre-back Vitor Reis, 18.
Discussions are underway over a £35m package for the teenage centre-back.

Jaden Philogene to join Ipswich
Aston Villa forward Jaden Philogene is on the verge of completing a switch to Ipswich Town, with his medical set for today.
According to , Ipswich have agreed a £20million deal for Philogene, who almost joined the club from Hull City in the summer.
Villa won the race for his signature, but the 22-year-old has only started four games for Unai Emery’s side this term.
Philogene is set to sign a four-and-a-half-year contract at Portman Road.
