Throughout his career, he has made serious cash from hosting radio, Brainiac: Science Abuse from 2003 to 2006, Total Wipeout from 2009 to 2012, and Planet Earth Live in 2012.

The TV star’s eye-watering net worth of £37million also comes from investing in property as his family resides in Bollitree Castle.

It’s a Grade II listed mock castle in Weston-under-Penyard, Herefordshire, which he reportedly purchased in 2012 for £2m.

Alongside his now-estranged wife Mindy Hammond, they also own a flat in London and a villa in Saint-Tropez.

However, his net worth could soon plummet due to legal fees after Hammond announced that he and Mindy are divorcing.

Taking to X, the 55-year-old penned: “A little update from us; this Christmas we were together as a family and this year we will still be a family but just structured a bit differently.

“Our marriage is coming to end, but we’ve had an amazing 28 years together and two incredible daughters.”

“We will always be in each other’s lives and are proud of the family we created. We won’t be commenting further and sincerely hope that our privacy and that of our children will be respected at this time,” Hammond concluded.
