Prominent celebrities in LA are losing their homes to the wildfires.
An increasing number of celebrities are announcing their homes have burned down during the Los Angeles wildfires that have already killed five and forced the evacuation of more than 130,000.
on Tuesday, and at least five are currently raging in LA, the home of some of ‘s best known faces.
The famous city’s landmarks are also at risk including the Capitol Records building, the TCL Chinese Theatre, the Walk of Fame and Bowl.
Arguably the most iconic is the sign, which is also near the evacuation area. The Griffith Observatory that features in the films Rebel Without A Cause and La La Land could also come under threat.
The flames are being spread by high winds of up to 100mph, which intially stopped firefighters from tackling them from the air. As a result, at a frighteningly rapid rate.

Billy Crystal and his wife Janice lost their home in the fire.
Paris Hilton’s beachfront house in Malibu was destroyed, leaving her “heartbroken beyond words”. She released a statement on saying she saw “burn to the ground on live TV”.
Actors Leighton Meester and Adam Brody lost their £5 million LA home and photos obtained by Page Six show the flames tearing through the garage door with the roof completely burned down.
Anna Faris also lost her multimillion dollar mansion in the fires, with photos showing the property completely reduced to rubble.
Top Gun: Maverick star Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh lost thier home to the after purchasing it only recently for £6 million.
Famed comedic acotr Eugene Levy also home to the blaze after revealing he got stuck in traffic earlier in the week due to the sheer

Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins had his Pacific Pallisades home reduced to a pile of rubble in the neighbourhood he’s lived in for over 25 years.
Billy Crystal and his wife Janice lost their home in the same area, leaving only the tennis court partially in tact. The pair said they are “heartbroken” as they’d been living there since 1979.
The couple said in a joint statement: “Words cannot describe the enormity of the devastation we are witnessing and experiencing.
“Janice and I lived in our home since 1979. We raised our children and grandchildren here. Every inch of our house was filled with love. Beautiful memories that can’t be taken away.
“We are heartbroken of course but with the love of our children and friends we will get through this.”
The couple described the Pacific Palisades as a “resilient community of amazing people”, adding: “It is our home”.
Actor John Goodman’s LA house was also redcued to a pile of ashes, with photos seen by Page Six showing nothing left standing and a blackened swinning pool.
The Hills stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag also confirmed they had lost their home in the blaze.The pair, who married for the second time in 2009, documented the escalation of the fire on their Snapchat stories with Pratt saying: “I’m watching our house burn down on the security cameras.”
Oscar-winning songwriter Diane Warren confirmed she had also lost her beach home of 30 years in the wildfire, adding that her animals had survived the ordeal.
A string of stars shared harrowing stories of having to flee their homes, including Mark Hamill, James Woods and Mandy Moore.
Star Wars actor Hamill said his family were “fleeing for our lives” as they evacuated their home, while Once Upon A Time In America star Woods said: “It tests your soul, losing everything at once.”
Sharing footage of the destruction in her neighbourhood, This Is Us actress Moore wrote on : “Honestly, I’m in shock and feeling numb for all so many have lost, including my family.
“My children’s school is gone. Our favourite restaurants, leveled. So many friends and loved ones have lost everything too. Our community is broken but we will be here to rebuild together.”
Meanwhile, Oscar-winner Jamie Lee Curtis confirmed her home was safe, but “our beloved neighbourhood is gone” as she shared videos of the fire on .
There have been many other celebrities that were forced but have not confirmed if they’ve been burned down, such as Ben Affleck and Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie.
