Will Princess Kate make a return to royal tours this year?
As she , an insider has opened up about whether fans can expect to see the on any royal tours this year.
The princess, who is said to be spending her special day with her family at home in Windsor, took time away from royal duties last year after being diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer.
Since announcing that she had finished her chemotherapy treatment in September, Kate has made a few public appearances such as attending a visit to Southport with , her annual Christmas carol service at Westminster Abey and the Christmas Day walkabout.
However, with the new year underway, speculation has grown over whether she will now attend any royal tours this year.
As reported by , insiders have, however, shared that she is not expected to be “rushing back to the same volume of work” as prior to her diagnosis.

Despite this, insiders have shared that Kate and William may “have some more trips lined up”.
Speaking of the Princess of Wales, insiders have shared that her “primary focus” will be on her Early Years Foundation work. The royal’s main priority is on that of her health and her children – Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.
Speaking of most recent appearances, such as at Trooping the Colour last June, the source added: “There is no huge reset button on her work and if you look to the back end of 2024 there was a gradual return of the Princess of Wales into more public engagements.
“That gradual return will continue into 2025 and it was an extremely warm and wonderful bookend to 2024 to see her at the carol service, and she continues that gradual return.”
