Love your Fire TV Stick but want a more pixel-packed viewing experience? Panasonic is hoping it’s latest televisions will offer exactly that. The Japanese technology firm has just revealed its latest and greatest screens at the CES show in Las Vegas and they not only include stunning OLED displays but are also fully powered by Amazon’s Fire OS platform.

That means there’s easy access to all the most popular free and premium streaming services – such as Prime Video, , iPlayer and more. Alexa voice search is built in too plus there’s a feature called Prime Video Calibrated Mode which enhances things when watching shows and movies on Amazon’s online service.

Another nice addition is Amazon’s Fire TV Ambient Experience which turns the screen into a giant work of art when you aren’t using it – it’s even possible to add useful widgets onto the display such as personal photos, sticky notes and calendar updates.

Along with that Fire TV access, the new Panasonic tellies, which include the flagship Z95B series, get improved OLED screens that push the colour and brightness to new levels. That’s thanks to them being equipped with the next-generation Primary RGB Tandem Panel and Panasonic’s revolutionary ThermalFlow aerodynamic cooling system. Panasonic says this technology has been inspired by aerodynamic techniques seen in race car design, with the TVs optimising the position of vents and repositioning the subwoofer and other components. That improved heat dissipation sustains the peak performance of the OLED panel.

Panasonic TVs aren’t just about image quality with the firm’s premium models featuring impressive 360-degree speakers – including a top-firing boombox – which offer immersive audio without the need for a dedicated soundbar. Audio is beamed into your ears from all directions making it appear as if you have a surround system without your living room clogged up with cables and extra speakers.

Those who love gaming will find support for both AMD Freesync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC. This provides industry-leading low latency, support for 144Hz refresh rate, and True Game Mode allowing you to experience games as the creators’ intended.

To help the new screens blend in better with your surroundings, Panasonic says it has created a full-flat design with a premium finish. Added features like detachable terminal covers, swivel options and wall-mount depth reduction should also help to maintain a minimalist look.

Panasonic now joins Samsung and LG with new TV launches so it could be a good year if you are in need of an upgrade.
