Regan Kelly was found dead on a beach in Thailand
The body of a British man who went missing after he was spotted in an “increasingly heated” argument with an unknown man has been found on a beach in Thailand.
Regan Kelly, 28, disappeared shortly after an explosive row with the person in question. He had not been seen since January 3.
The incident, which occurred outside a hostel bar on the Thai island of Phuket, was captured on CCTV.
The pair had reportedly been chatting for several hours before they appeared to break into an argument in the video, which has no audio.
His sister, Laurie Blackall, said Kelly got up and left before heading to Patong beach, with the other man coming after him.
The last bit of footage from the seafront, which police shared with the family, reportedly shows the other man tailing Regan.
Kelly, a building surveyor from Selsdon, was found the next day by a watersports instructor face down naked in the water off Patong.
The devastated family are now searching for answers about what happened to Kelly in his final hours.
His sister told the Mailonline: “The detective said he has worked tirelessly but I just don’t know if they want to make it out like it was a tragic accident.”
This is a breaking story. More to follow.
