She asked Nina: “Has she ever called you Nana?” Although her co-star quipped: “No, only you Naga!”

While speaking about The Vicar of Dibley stamps set to be released by The Royal Mail, the duo commented on how quick time seems to be fleeting.

Seeing a clip of Dawn French in the sitcom, Nina said: “Looking at that Naga, it’s the kind of show where I go, ‘Oh, it was only a few years ago’. But no, it was such a long time ago!”

Agreeing, Naga commented on how quick time seems to be going. She replied: “We’re already at the time where we stop saying Happy New Year, apparently. I don’t think I’ve said it to Carol, though.”

Taken aback, Nina jokingly quipped: “Have you not?! Shame on you.” However, the host was quick to defend her mishap, confessing she hadn’t seen Carol yet.

Handing over to Carol, she told the presenters that Naga had messaged her to celebrate the start of the year. After the weather forecast, Naga clarified: “I did see the message! I checked, and we did send a message very early on New Year’s Day.”

Poking fun at Naga, Nina added: “I’m sure you’re not the only one who can’t remember everything about the morning of New Year’s Day.”

Not saying anything, the duo shared a coy look while laughing before moving on to the next segment.

Breakfast continues weekdays on One from 6am.
