The UK looks set to be hammered by a second barrage of , with only the east coast and the Midlands looking likely to escape the trecherous weather.

This comes after many parts of Britain have experienced this week, with the .

, while dozens of flights have been grounded at major UK airports.

But a second wave of later this month, with maps from Netweather showing much of the country at risk.

Latest maps from WXCHARTS show on January 23 at 6am, snow will hit Scotland, the north of England, parts of Wales and some of the south coast.

Some parts of Scotland will see up to 25cm of snow with most parts of England seeing 5cm or less of .

On January 24, at 6am, the same areas will likely see snowfall.

Manchester will see less than one cm of snowfall per hour while Southampton could see as much as 10cm of per hour.
