A TikToker revealed a hidden gem seat
has given a cheeky response to a passenger who shared a flight hack on social media.
A TikToker (@alba.arra) posted a video sharing Ryanair’s “hidden gem”. Normally, Ryanair passengers who want to enjoy extra leg room need to book a seat coming at a higher price than standard seats. But the user showed how on her flight, seat 29F had extra leg room despite not coming with an extra fee – thanks to not having a seat in front of it.
, however, responded to the video with a clip of their own, saying “not anymore” and suggesting the seat would now come with a hiked fee for people who want to book it.
The Ryanair clip went on to show what appeared to be a booking page on the airline’s website that read “you really thought all THAT was for free?” with an additional charge of £49 for the seat.
users loved the hilarious response, saying that the people behind the page’s content are “savage” and “the best in aviation.”
:
One person said: “Why? Just why?” To which Ryanair simply responded: “Funny”.
Others noted that seat 29F isn’t necessarily a “gem” due to it being placed opposite a member of the flight crew. One noted: “Until the stewardess sits in front of you and you’re eye to eye.”
Users also noted that the seat had no table, making eating and drinking more difficult, and no seat-back pocket for storage.
DON’T MISS [REPORT]
The 29F seat does not always come with extra leg room either, as the seat layout changes depending on the type of aircraft.
This comes as Ryanair passengers now face paying up to £44.99 to add a 10kg check-in bag to their booking, as the airline has increased some of its luggage fees.
Previously, the airline charged between £11.99 and £29.99 to add a 10kg check-in bag when booking. If passengers added later or at the airport on the day of travel, it would cost between £23.99 and £35.99.
Ryanair has been contacted for comment.
