has broken his silence after it was announced that his popular farm shop at Diddly Squat would be closing for several weeks. The former presenter first opened the shop in 2020 following the success of his series.
Taking to X, formally known as Twitter, the car enthusiast posted: “While it’s true that the farm shop at Diddly Squat is closed as usual until March, the farm shop at the Farmer’s Dog is very much open. Every day apart from Mondays and Tuesdays. You can grab a burger too and a pint.”
The Farmer’s Dog officially opened on Friday 23 August and is located in Burford in Oxfordshire, close to his popular Diddly Squat farm.
Since the series first aired in 2020, people have travelled all over the country to pay a visit to Diddly Squat. Prior to the pub opening, Clarkson issued a stern warning to fans who planned to visit.
He penned online: “But PLEASE use the main roads.” In previous years, Diddly Squat has experienced issues with parking and visitors have left their cars on both sides of the verges, not allowing space for cars to drive past.

At the start of 2024, there were reports of The Coach and Horses, which is located opposite his Hawkstone Brewery.
During the same time, the Cotswold District Council approved a new premises licence for The Coach and Horses. The licence also grants live music to be allowed outside until 9pm and sells alcohol seven days a week from 11am until 11pm.
According to the , the pub was in need of an investment of £750,000 due to its “poor state.” It is understood that there was a “hole in the roof” and the pub’s agent said in a licencing meeting in February that they would like a new tenant.
Jeremy later bought the inn for less than £1 million and it is set to feature in his successful hit series, Clarkson’s Farm.

The outdoors area has been completely transformed with a new canopy and there are over 20 picnic tables for pub-goers to enjoy a beer outside.
