Sadio Mane spoke about future plans with his teenage wife.
Former star has opened up on wanting several children with his 19-year-old wife Aisha Tamba, a year after getting married.
Mane, who now plays for side Al-Nassr with , wed his bride on January 7, 2024, in Senegal capital Dakar.
Tamba , 31 at the time, having reportedly met the ex- forward two years earlier through mutual connections.
claimed at the time that Tamba, who was in her final year of a private college in Mbao when marrying Mane, had her school bills paid for by the Senegal star man. The legal age of consent in the west African nation is 16.
Following the first year of life as a married couple, their attention has seemingly turned towards starting a family. Despite their age gap, which raised some eyebrows when pictures of their wedding ceremony were posted online, Mane wants multiple children with his wife.
In an interview with , Mane was asked how many children he would like to have in the future and replied: “Funny question. If it is just a choice, I would say three or four. Except that it is God who decides and I will thank him no matter what.”
It was then put to the versatile winger how open he would be to having even more children, namely six or seven, to which he said: “Maybe, you never know.”

Mane never revealed that he was in a relationship during his six-year spell at , which ended in the summer of 2022.
That year he described the type of woman he would like to marry one day. According to , Mane said: “I’ve seen a lot of girls asking me why I am not married, but sorry you might be wasting your time. The woman I marry will not be on social networks.
“I want to marry a woman who respects God and prays well. Everyone has their own way of making their choice of love.”
Speaking out for the first time, Mane’s wife said that she planned to move in with her husband later in 2024 after completing her studies, but marrying someone with a reported £650,000-a-week wage in Saudi Arabia would not change her.
“I am looking forward to my new life and I know that it will be very different,” she told the through a relative. “But I do not feel any pressure because Sadio’s fame and money will not change me.
“This is not what I’m interested in. I will remain a humble person committed to my faith. I’m not used to having so much attention on me because we are a very private family.
“We don’t like to show off and speak about our personal lives. I am a very down to earth person, this is how I was raised, and nothing will be different just because of this marriage. But I’m very honoured to now be Mrs Mane.”
