Meghan Markle’s pal comes to her defence on Instagram
US Chef Adrian Lipscombe has leapt in to defend after calling out an article with a hatred headline about her yet-to-air show, With Love, Meghan.
Taking to , Adrian shared a screengrab of the article before defending Meghan in the caption – referring to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as “some of the most down-to-earth people”.
Before going on to note Meghan as “gracious, engaged and kind”, the US chef also shared that she and Meghan had spent time discussing their daughters’ shared love of princesses. Speaking of Princess Lilibet, she added, “We talked about our families (mostly about our daughters being in their princess phase and the movies they love) and, of course, about food. She didn’t rush the conversation, even though I was taking up her time. She was gracious, engaged, and kind.”
She then added, “How are you going to criticise someone or judge a TV show before it has even aired?”
With Love, Meghan, an eight-part cooking and lifestyle series, is set to air on on January 15.
