Elon Musk has posted a one word response to Reform UK leader in a sign the pair’s relationship is not on the rocks.
It comes after turned on posting on his social media platform X saying he “doesn’t have what it takes to be leader” of the growing political party.
However, amid concerns over their relationship, Mr Musk issued a short response showing support for a video clip posted by the Clacton MP on Monday.
The billionaire replied to a post by the Reform UK leader which included a 46 second clip of himself speaking on the grooming gangs, alongside the caption: “ is sweeping the failures of the establishment under the carpet.
“Nothing less than a full national inquiry into the rape gangs will do.”
In response to this, Mr Musk simply wrote “Yes”. The one-word post indicates the friendship between the two individuals is still there.

This follows the tech-tycoon’s shocking post on Sunday which read: “The Reform Party needs a new leader. Farage doesn’t have what it takes.”
The statement by the Tesla boss came as a surprise to many after the Reform UK leader and Mr Musk met around three weeks ago in the president elect’s Mar-a-lago estate. Rumours then swirled that the billionaire was poised to donate as much as $100million (£79million) to the party.
However, the post follows Mr Farage distancing his party from Tommy Robinson, the jailed activist. He said: “My view remains that Tommy Robinson is not right for Reform and I never sell out my principles.”
The ongoing social media spat was ignited after it was revealed that Labour blocked a national public inquiry into the grooming scandal.

Mr Musk has taken to X writing a string of posts to criticise major political figures who he believes were involved. He has attacked both Prime Minister Sir and safeguarding minister Jess Phillips for the Government’s handling of the scandal, accusing the PM of being “complicit in the rape of Britain”.
There have been several investigations into grooming gangs in various parts of England, including Rotherham, Bristol, Cornwall and Derbyshire.
An inquiry into abuse in Rotherham found 1,400 children had been sexually abused over a 16-year period, predominantly by British Pakistani men.
An investigation in Telford found that up to 1,000 girls had been abused over 40 years – and that some cases had not been investigated because of ‘nervousness about race’.
