Elon Musk rips into Ed Davey, savagely calling him a ‘snivelling cretin’

It is alleged that fears over causing offence and cultural sensitivity prevented local authorities from properly investigating the matter and prosecuting those involved.

The Tesla founder went on to launch furious attacks against Sir Keir and Phillips.

Those comments, along with a poll where Musk asked if it was time for the United States to “liberate” the UK from its “tyrannical government” were the catalyst for Davey to wade into the condemnation of Musk.

wrote on X: “People have had enough of interfering with our country’s democracy when he clearly knows nothing about Britain.

“It’s time to summon the US ambassador to ask why an incoming US official is suggesting the UK government should be overthrown.”

Musk, who has posted more than 100 times on the topic of grooming gangs in the last week, was not prepared to take the comment lying down, and hit back in response.

He replied on X: “What exactly do I fail to understand about your failure to stop the mass rape of little girls in Britain, you sniveling cretin?”

The uncovering of the grooming of young girls in several northern towns by groups predominately made up of men of Pakistani origin was first reported on in 2011 by The Times journalist Andrew Norfolk.
