World’s most peaceful country with ‘less tourists’ is named – it’s not in Europe

BookRetreats analyzed 76 destinations globally to figure out which offered the most peaceful retreats, and one country came out on top. 

was crowned the winner as it has a crowd density of just 3.4 people per km squared. When you compare this with 198.3 and Mauritius’ 626, Australia is clearly a quieter option.

This vast country has so much to offer tourists from stunning beaches to other-worldly deserts and bustling cities. As it’s in the southern hemisphere, Australia is also currently enjoying summer as the UK shivers.
