Luke Littler’s quest to retain his title will get underway in Belfast on Thursday, February 6. Inevitably, the new World Champion was today confirmed as one of the eight names to compete in the series, which will hold meetings at 16 different venues before finals night takes place at The O2 arena in London.

Along with Littler, 2024 runner-up , , Rob Cross, Nathan Aspinall and Chris Dobey retain their places.

The new additions are Stephen Bunting and Chris Dobey, who replace Michael Smith and Peter Wright.

The tournament will take place over 17 consecutive Thursday nights, culminating on May 29. And given Littler’s phenomenal exploits at Ally Pally, the clamour for tickets – and to see the teenage sensation in action – is likely to be frenzied.

The format will again be an eight-person knockout bracket every night, with each of the players meeting in the first seven weeks, and then again in weeks nine-15 with weeks eight and 16 drawn based on league standings.

The nightly winner will gain fivem points, the runner-up three points, and losing semi-finalists two points. After week 16, the top four contest the semi-finals and the final at The O2 arena.
