Meghan Markle has been praised by friends ahead of her upcoming cooking show
has reportedly shown her true colours ahead of as she makes a sweet gesture to one of her good friends.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, will be the star of her new series “With Love, Meghan”, which is set to air on January 15.
While the eight-episode series will focus predominantly on Meghan, the duchess will be joined by a number of celebrity friends, including actresses Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer, as she cooks food for them at just a few miles from her own home.
However, while the mum-of-two has received some criticism since the launch of the trailer last week, Meghan has shown herself to be a “girl’s girl” after her kind gesture to American actress Mindy Kaling, who features on the upcoming series.
This is because Meghan asked Mindy if she would like to come on the show and have food cooked for her after the actress had recently given birth, a gesture that was greatly appreciated by her friend after this big life event.

Speaking at the Golden Globes yesterday, Mindy said: “I was just in my maternity leave and Meghan texted me and said ‘hey do you wanna be in my show and come to Montecito and have me cook for you’, and I was like ‘yeah, that sounds perfect, I would love to do that’.”
Speaking about the cooking and recipes, Mindy continued: “She unsurprisingly kind of blew me out of the water. She has a garden and a garden from scratch which I could never do, and chickens.”
Mindy also mentioned how Meghan’s husband was present at the filming however didn’t cook alongside his wife.
She said: “Harry was there but he didn’t cook for me. I heard he’s a pretty good cook, he knows his way around the kitchen.”

Meghan’s celebrity friends appear in the new series
Mindy is not the only friend of Meghan to praise the duchess ahead of the release of the show.
Abigail Spencer, who acted alongside Meghan on the US series Suits, took to to praise her good friend after the trailer was launched last week.
: “With Love, Meghan premieres January 15th! She’s magic. Love you so @meghan.”
The duchess has not revealed any more information about the series since posting the trailer to her new account last week.
