The 2025 sparked a whole host of stunning looks on the red carpet – from plunging black one-piece to Nicole Kidman’s backless pearl gown.
An exciting night saw take home her first ever Globe at the age of 62 for her work in body horror flick The Substance. She won the Best Actress gong, beating out Cynthia Erivo, Amy Adams and Zendaya.
Films and TV shows recognised at the ceremony included movie musical Wicked, tennis drama Challengers and hit show Baby Reindeer.
A wealth of viral moments were born on the night, too, with Zoe Saldana leaving fans baffled as she “crashed” the stage during the presentation for Best Original Song. She sang and helped arrange the track El Mal in the musical Emilia Pérez, but the gong was being handed to musicians Clément Ducol and Camille for the composition.
One fan moaned: “Why is Zoe Saldana on the stage? I know she won (and I do like her) but she really needs to sit down.” As another said: “That was soooo weird and wrong. She wanted to be the star there. She took the focus off the winners in what should have been their moment.”

Babygirl star Nicole Kidman swept her blonde hair up into a high ponytail for the big night, before slipping into a glittering silver gown. Making it clear she hadn’t bothered with a bra, Nicole’s gown plunged all the way to her waist in the back, before trailing into a mermaid-style train across the carpet.
She dressed up the Balenciaga gown with diamond earrings and a glitzy bracelet, looking ageless as ever in her pearl ensemble.
Miley Cyrus

Flowers hitmaker Miley Cyrus went against the grain for the Golden Globes 2025, donning a black cut-out gown that skimmed the floor but left little else to the imagination.
The jet black Celine dress was fringed with silver trim forming a flower across her abdomen and leaving just two triangles of fabric to cover her chest before rising into a halter-neck, and leaving her wealth of tattoos on display.
Demi Moore

The Substance star Demi Moore was ready to accept her first major accolade in a stunning metallic gold gown – a custom piece from Giorgio Armani Privé. The strapless champagne silk frock was embellished with Swarovski crystals across the bust, diving into a faux cut-out section.
Dripping in glitzy jewellery, Demi wore her long brunette hair loose almost to her waist and let her gown skim the carpet as she celebrated her debut Globes win.

Challengers star Zendaya looked incredible in an orange strapless gown that flared out into a wide skirt, showing off her matching silk heels. The piece was a custom fit from Louis Vuitton, and she was definitely serving Old in the stunning ensemble.
With her auburn hair styled into a cropped perm, Zendaya layered on diamond necklaces around her throat and showed off her incredible figure with her frock’s sweetheart neckline.
Angelina Jolie

Fresh from her divorce from Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie looked completely unfazed as she dressed up in a nearly sheer McQueen gown made up of individual silver strands, woven together to form a half-sleeve number with slits up the legs.
With matching glittery heels, Angelina swept her brunette tresses over one shoulder, piled high in a backcombed middle part, and added silver earrings in each lobe as she posed for the cameras.
