A picturesque town located in the municipality of Níjar, , Isleta del Moro appears as a small peninsula almost completely surrounded by crystal-clear waters.
Just 170 people live in the village, with Isleta del Moro standing out for its modest white houses and the colourful boats resting near the beach – exactly what gives it that similar air to Mykonos.
Moreover, peace here is only interrupted in the summer months, when it receives the greatest number of .
La Isleta del Moro is well worth the 500-metre detour from the AL-4200 road from San Jose to Las Negras.

Even on a sunny day in winter, you can sit and watch the sunset and the local fishermen at work from the waterfront cafe. There is a small hostel, Pension la Isleta del Moro, and some apartments to rent for those wishing for a longer stay.
Among its attractions is the White Rock Beach, with 400 metres of fine sand and crystal-clear waters of excellent quality, perfect for enjoying a refreshing swim on a hot day, which can reach the low 30s in the summer.
