made an exciting announcement following her lengthy absence from her show.
The Scottish presenter, 65, has been missing from her self-titled programme for several weeks after taking an extended break to enjoy Christmas.
However, Lorraine has now revealed that she will be back on screens on Monday (January 6) after ringing in the new year from Kerala, India.
Taking to , the TV star shared an image of herself enjoying a meal at a restaurant before revealing when fans could expect her return.
She wrote: “Bye bye glorious Kerala – what a time we had. Beautiful, fascinating part of the world – and the food!! Thanks to Nikhil for his knowledge of India. We will be back! See you tomorrow as usual at 9am.”

Despite ITV presenters regularly taking time off during the holidays, viewers were hoping to see Lorraine on her first show of 2025.
However, they were met with , who regularly steps in for her co-star while she is away.
as one wrote on X: “Starting the new year off with 0%. What a strong start, Lorraine.”
A second penned: “This is embarrassing even by Lorraine’s standards,” as a third shared: “Might as well call the show ‘occasionally featuring Lorraine’ at this stage.”

2024 was likely one of Lorraine’s best year’s yet as after her daughter Rosie welcomed her first child with partner Steve White.

Lorraine announced the news on in September, sharing an image of her granddaughter Billie.
She gushed: “I have been BURSTING to share this wonderful news with you! Baby Billie is an angel and I’m so proud of @rosiekellysmith and @stevewhite94 who will be the best parents.
“I’m delighted to be Granny Smith and can’t wait to go on adventures. #love #joy #happiness #family.”
Speaking about Billie’s arrival on Good Morning Britain, Lorraine revealed that she “couldn’t stop smiling” now that her “beautiful” granddaughter had entered the world.
She added: “It’s amazing to see your own child having a wee baby, it’s just lovely.”
