Catastrophe as Labour crashes to embarrassing -45% approval rating

Labour has slumped to its worst-ever popularity rating in government, with six out of 10 voters after a string of controversial decisions.

YouGov said Sir ’s administration is now “”, with a net approval of -45% heading into 2025.

“Even voters are now divided on the government they elected, with 38% having a negative view and 34% a positive one,” said YouGov.

Worryingly for the PM, more than a third of Labour voters (36%) have an unfavourable view of their party leader in the poll carried out in December.

Sir Keir himself took thousands of pounds in work clothing and pairs of glasses from millionaire donor Lord Waheed Alli. He later said he would not be accepting any further gifts.
